In our upcoming art show we are featuring Christmassy gift ideas and decorations at the Crypt Gallery in Seaford; this is in addition to the art that our members usually create but we hope you might like to treat yourselves to a present from amongst their talented offerings too.
We are having a preview of the show on Thursday 9th November, 2023 between 18.00 and 20.00. |
In addition to her iconic depictions of Seaford and the surrounding countryside, Sarah Demoratti will have her Coronation Street prints on sale to celebrate King Charles III's big day. This will be a great chance to buy a Bet Lynch, Ena Sharples or Elsie Tanner, not to mention Hilda Ogden.
Nigel Goss has been creating crowns from plastic waste to contribute to Last Minute Artists' celebration of the Coronation this spring. Our exhibition will feature a collection of artworks using royalty as an inspiration alongside the usual work of contributing artists. Nigel would like to thank Plastic Free Seaford for their help with materials.
March 31st, 2022:
The Last Minute Artists put on a fantastic show as usual. It is always exciting to see it come together on the day! Sales were not as good as they have been which may be due to the general economic uncertainty. We hope for better next time.

November 2019, we set our artists a challenge to produce new work - either a 3D piece or a still life. Our artists did not let us down and we had an exciting and eclectic mix of work throughout the gallery.
We hope to resume our art shows when it is safe to do so and the Corvid 19 virus lockdown ends.
